What's not to like about the new Sony PRS-600 e-book reader and this discounted bundle?! For me, this e-book reader was worth the wait: better price than its predecessor, has an improved touch screen visibility, built-in dictionary just double tap any word (my favorite feature), compatibility with plenty of file formats, still has an MP3 player for audiobooks/music etc, plenty of internal memory storage and external memory card slots for more storage. But now it only comes with a soft pouch, so...

Fits the Kindle 2 perfectly. The backing is not adhesive, it's micro suction cups, neat technology. It stays very secure, I've never had a problem with it and use it daily on the subway and thrown into my backpack.

I am always looking, selfishly, for board books that are entertaining for adults as well as children. I don't want to have to read simple "See Spot Run" type stories over and over again. Sheep in a Jeep is at the top of my list. It's just so clever and fun, despite its simplicity. It uses more sophisticated words to keep the rhyme going, i.e. "jeap in a heap" (versus pile) and "sheep weep" (instead of cry). My 18 month old doesn't care very much about choice of words as long as they rhyme, and my 5 year old asks questions like "What is a heap?" and "Does weep mean cry?" so she increases her vocabulary when she listens in to the story. Anyway, definitely a great add to our little library.

While looking for a PRS505 cover (which I knew would fit my new PRS600), I came across this item. The specs looked similar and the price was great so I gave it a try. I was mostly interested in protecting my eReader while traveling with it in a bag. It doesn't connect the way the 505 cover does, but it does fit nicely. I ordered this set (in red) for my new Kindle 2. It is a bit thinner then I hoped (I have a silicone protector for my i-pod from Speck that is way thicker) and is a little loose- it ought to fit tighter I think. I have not liked this cover since I got it. I had it one day, and one of the zippers broke (thankfully, there are two). I wanted to send it back, but the hassle isn't worth it. I should have ordered the amazon kindle cover.

I have no one to blame but myself. I read all the reviews, and bought it anyway...figuring "it's only 12.50, it must be worth at least that"...well maybe, maybe not. The fit is atrocious. Both sides gape open (see photo), which not only makes it less effective, it's distracting as all heck when I'm holding the book. I'm constantly trying to "push" the sides down and hoping they will finally stick. But they don't. I need to be able to hold my Kindle and operate it with one hand held away from my body (I usually have a child in my lap who would like very much to push the next page button for me) and I was concerned that the other covers would be too bulky or heavy. This one does meet that requirement, and for that reason alone, I will probably keep it, at least for awhile.

It would be nice if they had made it a little bit easier to tell where the various buttons start and stop, but I haven't had too much trouble using it. The silicone is a dust and dog hair magnet, so you don't want to use this if you have a black lab ;-).

The screen protector is so so. It was no better and no worse than any of the ones I've had for my iPhone. It went on reasonably easy, and I only have 3 or 4 specks of dust which I know better than to try and remove.

Overall, I'm rather disappointed in this case.
